Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center: Life and Hope for Children

Last week, Shiver Hamilton Campbell had the pleasure of spending time with some amazing staff members & youths at Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center. Founded over 80 years ago, Murphy-Harpst serves as a sanctuary for children who’ve experienced abuse, neglect and repeated foster home placements.

In effort to support such a great non-profit organization, Shiver Hamilton Campbell sponsored a charity event with a petting zoo, and a food truck that provided delicious food and fresh smoothies. As a part of their ‘Animal Week’ at the facility, the children were excited and very eager for the petting zoo animals to arrive.

Our families got to interact with the children & staff under the picnic gazebo and playground area. The children joined in a game of volleyball and fun swimming activities. They were friendly and tremendously thankful for our time and support. We are humbled and glad to have contributed to these children’s rehabilitation and recovery process.
