$1,500,000 Settlement – Boating Accident

Shiver Hamilton Campbell’s client was struck by a boat propeller while swimming and tragically drowned. Several witnesses had very different viewpoints and memories of exactly what happened. The boat dealer who owned the boat turned the accident claim over to its insurance carriers, both of whom stated that their policies would not apply based on the facts. We filed a lawsuit on the family’s behalf and ultimately were able to force one of the carriers to pay more than policy limits to resolve the claim.
