$2,397,000 Settlement – Commercial Vehicle Collision

An employee of a wholesale distributing company was operating his work vehicle, a Ford Transit T150, while traveling northbound on Interstate 75/85 near Freedom Parkway in Fulton County, Georgia. The driver of the work truck failed to stop and struck our client’s vehicle in the rear. The force of the impact pushed our client’s vehicle into the vehicle stopped directly in front of him. The driver of the Ford Transit T150, who was not paying attention and was cited for following too closely, admitted that he caused the wreck. However, his employer denied our client’s injuries were caused by the collision. After years of hard-fought litigation, Shiver Hamilton Campbell was able to secure a settlement on behalf of our client in the amount of $2,397,500.
