$1,200,000 Jury Verdict – DUI Motor Vehicle Collision

A Fulton County State Court Jury awarded Shiver Hamilton Campbell’s client $1,200,000 after she sustained serious injuries during a head-on collision with a drunk driver. Our client sustained cervical fractures and a partially torn rotator cuff because of the collision.

At the time of trial, the client had $75,000 in medical expenses because she had not undergone surgery for her injuries. The jury was presented with future surgical estimates totaling more than $200,000. Defendant’s pretrial offer was only $500,000, but the jury awarded our client $1,200,000.
